The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (OOSA) first issued and distributed among the Member States a "Directory of Education, Training, Research and Fellowship Opportunities in Space Science and Technology and its Applications" (United Nations document A/AC.105/366) in 1986. The first addendum to the above document was issued in 1987 and the revised and updated editions of the Directory were published in 1989 as UN document A/AC.105/432, in 1993 as UN document A/AC.105/548, in 1998 as UN document A/AC.105/671 and in 2001 as UN document ST/SPACE/10. The latest publication has also been made available on the Internet at the Office web site.
In response to requests by Member States, the OOSA continues this activity and will publish a revised and updated edition of the above Directory in the future.
In order to revise and update the information contained in the on-line edition of the Directory, the Office for Outer Space Affairs would be grateful if international and national agencies and institutions active in the area of space science and technology education would complete the questionnaire on "Education, Training, Research and Fellowship Opportunities" (electronic version of the questionnaire is available both in PDF and MS Word formats). The information so provided will be also used for further publication of the Directory in a "hard-copy" format.
Please note that completed questionnaires should be forwarded to:
